It is announced for the information of Ghanaians that the passport authority of Ghana, has commenced the introduction of a new 48-paged passport booklet in addition to the existing 32-paged passport booklet with immediate effect.

The passport number of the 48-page booklet begins with the letter “a”, to differentiate it from the old 32-page booklet with the letter “g”.

In this regard, Ghanaian may wish to apply for the new 48-page passport.
