Emergency Travel Certificate Guidelines

A Travel Certificate is issued to Ghanaian nationals ONLY, who are not in possession of a Passport, but must travel to Ghana at short notice or in an emergency.. 

The document is for a single journey to Ghana only and cannot be used for a return journey, and is valid for one month only.

Requirements for Emergency Travel Certificate

  • Duly completed application form;          

       

  • Applicants are required to produce proof of Ghanaian Nationality such as photocopy of the missing passport and/or original Birth Certificate.          

  • Five (5) passport photographs

Airline Companies which accept Emergency Travel Certificate are Listed Below:

  •  EMIRATES AIRLINES – Moscow (Domodedovo) - Dubai - Accra (Daily) - (23:40 – 11:50 – Duration of flight - 15H.10 M)

  • EGYPT AIRLINES – Moscow (Domodedovo) - Cairo - Accra (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday)

       (16:55 – 12:40 – Duration of flight - 22H.45M)

  • AIR MAROC AIRLINES - (Please take note that before buying a ticket through Air Maroc, a request should be done to their office to get their consent) - Moscow (Domodedovo) - Casablanca - Accra (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)  - (09:05 – 03:15 – Duration of flight 21H.10M)

Consular Letters Authentication : USD 40.00

Attestation : USD 40.00

Certificate ("SPRAVKA") : USD 30.00

Emergency Travel Certificate: USD 60.00

PASSPORT FEES & CHARGES

Application Form : USD 30.00

Processing Fee (32 pages) : USD 145.00

Processing Fee (48 pages) : USD 215.00


THERE IS NO MORE EXTENSION OF EXPIRED PASSPORTS (Ref. on 01/01/2017)
